Space Availability - Media Production Labs (Greenscreen Lab and Audio Labs)

The Glucksman Library Media Production Labs are located on the first floor of the library in The Edge, the hub of digital scholarship - where people are invited to experiment, innovate, collaborate and create, using a suite of emerging technologies.

These bookable, self-service spaces include two Audio Labs (one PC, one Mac) for recording audio presentations or podcasts, and a Greenscreen lab, to record video or experiement with wireless VR headsets (available to borrow from the Makerspace).  These spaces are open to all UL students, faculty, and staff, to use for academic and personal projects.  For anyone wishing to book one of the media labs access is permitted on successful completion of an induction - bookable here..  On completion of the induction, your details will be added to the door access system.

An extensive list of loanable equipment such as cameras, tripods, VR headsets, and much more are available to borrow at no charge, to use within the media labs, or to take home. 

Staff in the Makerspace (GL1-035) are available to assist with any technical queries, during makerspace opening hours

Use of these rooms by individuals or groups is by reservation, and for media production purposes only.

Please note that these spaces are not fully soundproofed, professional recording studios.
