Access to Audio Labs is only available on completion of an updated Media Labs Induction - bookable here. Previous attendees (prior to March 2025) must also undergo the new induction due to the changes in technology/use of space.
Audio Labs are bookable, self-service spaces for recording audio presentations or podcasts - not for general study.
Within the Audio Lab you will find:

Please note these rooms have CCTV for your safety and security.
These spaces are not fully soundproofed, professional recording studios.

Located on first floor of new library wing. Turn left after entrance gates. Continue straight until wood staircase (on right). Go up one flight to floor 1. Go through recess door on right. Take 2 right turns. Go down corridor and GL1-041 Audio Lab (with PC) is second on left after toilets. Alternative access via old library Floor 1 Lift availability.
