Zine Making Workshop: Create Your Own Mini Magazine In-Person
Duration: 1.5 Hours
Location: The Makerspace (GL1-035) Glucksman Library
The Library Makerspace invites you to a laid-back, beginner-friendly session where you’ll learn how to make your own Zine (a small, DIY publication that can include anything from art and writing to collages, opinions, or personal stories.) We’ll provide all the materials and walk you through the basics. No experience needed, just bring your ideas (or make it up as you go).
At this workshop, you will learn:
-
Zine-making basics – Learn how to fold, cut, and bind a mini zine from a single sheet of paper.
-
Creative storytelling – Use words, drawings, and images to express your thoughts, ideas, or humour in your own unique style.
Zines are all about expression, not perfection, so come along, try something new, and leave with your own handmade publication.
