Badge Making Workshop: Design & Create Your Own Pins In-Person
Duration: 1.5 Hour
Location: The Makerspace (GL1-035) Glucksman Library
The Library Makerspace is hosting a relaxed, beginner-friendly session where you’ll design and make your own badges using printed graphics, drawings, or any creative ideas you bring along. We’ll provide all the materials and show you how it works, no experience needed. It’s a fun, hands-on way to get creative and take a break from your usual university routine.
At this workshop, you will learn:
-
Basic badge-making techniques – Use a badge press to turn your designs into wearable buttons.
-
Visual design basics – Explore layout, colour, and messaging as you create a badge that reflects you.
-
Creative self-expression – Turn your ideas into something physical you can wear, share, or gift to a friend.
It’s a quick and easy way to try something new, meet others, and leave with something you made yourself.
