Makerspace - Jewellery Making Workshop: Make Your Own 3D-Printed Jewellery

Makerspace - Jewellery Making Workshop: Make Your Own 3D-Printed Jewellery In-Person

Duration: 2 Hours
Location: The Makerspace (GL1-035) Glucksman Library

The Library Makerspace team invites you to a beginner-friendly workshop where you’ll learn how to create your own custom jewellery using 3D-printed components — all materials provided! No prior experience needed, we’ll show you everything you need to know. Come along, get creative and enjoy a break from your usual university routine.

At this workshop, you will learn:

  • Basic jewellery assembly techniques – Learn how to use jump rings, pliers, and findings to put together your own earrings, necklaces, or keychains.

  • Creative design thinking – Get hands-on with choosing colours, shapes and layouts to make something that reflects your personal style.

  • Introduction to 3D printed components – Understand how 3D-printed parts can be used in craft and design, and explore the possibilities of digital fabrication in a creative context.

It’s a chance to make something cool, meet new people and maybe even discover a new hobby.
