Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI): Why should I C.A.R.E.? In-Person
Curious about Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) and its potential impact on our lives?
As part of the Limerick Lifelong Learning Festival 2025, staff from the Glucksman Library, the Centre for Transformative Learning, and the Academic Integrity Unit will facilitate an engaging and interactive workshop where you can learn what GenAI is and isn't, and explore some popular tools and how they are being applied in fields like education and creativity. We'll also discuss the ethical issues around GenAI and guide you on responsible usage with our C.A.R.E. principles.
We hope you can join this important session to learn about this rapidly evolving technology. The event takes place in Limerick City Library, Barrow House, Michael St. Limerick V94 RF63.
We look forward to seeing you there.
Attendees who need parking should note that Charlotte's Quay Car Park is not far away but there are two private car parks adjacent to the library. Nearby on-street parking is quite limited at present due to the Opera construction work. There is a single space for accessible parking just across the road from the library on Ellen Street and another one further down on Michael Street.
