Makerspace: Intro to 3D Printing Workshop In-Person
The Library Makerspace team bring you this beginners workshop which will introduce you to designing & 3D Printing your own Keychain.
In this workshop we’ll show you:
- The background of 3D printing and its applications
- how to utilise the website tool TinkerCad to make your own Keychain
- how we typically prepare the models for 3D printing
You will need to bring your own laptop (a mouse is also reccomended)
The skills you will learn in this workshop will allow you to design your own simple models for 3D printing.
We will be using TinkerCad to create the design. It is a free easy to use 3D modelling website catered to beginners.
