Makerspace: Laser Engraving Workshop In-Person
The Library Makerspace team bring you this beginners workshop which will introduce you to designing & laser engraving your own coaster.
In this workshop we’ll help you to:
- create a simple design using Canva - an easy-to-use free software
- show you how the laser machine software works
- laser engrave your design onto the chosen material
You will need to bring your own laptop (a mouse is optional)
The skills you will learn in this workshop will allow you to make a variety of things with the laser machine.
We will be using CANVA to create the design. It is advised to come with a design for your coaster in mind.
