Systematic Searching on MEDLINE with Full Text Online

This 60-minute session will introduce you to advanced search concepts for searching MEDLINE. In this session we will look at developing a complex search strategy, incorporating wildcards and proximity search operators, running freetext and MeSH (Medical Subject Headings) searches, and applying available filters to focus search results

This training will be delivered by Richard Crookes. Richard is a Manager with EBSCO Customer Training Services for UK, Nordics, and Africa, responsible for a team of training specialists who support the UK, Ireland, Scandinavia the Middle East, and Africa. Richard previously worked as a healthcare Librarian within the UK National Health Service (NHS) for 12 years supporting nursing and allied health professionals, students, and library staff.  Richard hosts online trainings for all the academic and medical sectors in the UK and Ireland, covering multiple EBSCO products.
