Makerspace: Getting started with 3D Printing using Tinkercad - In person in GL1-035

Makerspace: Getting started with 3D Printing using Tinkercad - In person in GL1-035 In-Person

Have you ever wanted to try 3D design and 3D printing? Or perhaps you're not even sure what 3D printing is!

The Library Makerspace as part of the LevULup programme bring you this beginners workshop which will introduce you to 3D printing, and design using Tinkercad, the free, user friendly software that is accessible to all levels.

In this hands-on workshop we will walk you through digitally designing a 3D object, and by the end of the workshop you will have created a personalised keychain which you will then have the opportunity to print via one of the 3D printers in the Library Makerspace.

No experience with 3D design or printing? No problem! This class is designed for beginners.

Please sign up to Tinkercad account before the workshop and please bring a mouse.

For all queries, check the LevUL Up website in the first instance. If further clarification is required contact david.f.moloney@ul.ie.
