Searching Online Databases Online
Do you know how to use the library databases and journals to search for information? This library information session will teach you how to by:
- Helping you identify keywords and synonyms to help you find relevant sources.
- Demonstrating how to search for sources in a library database.
- Improving your research skills overall.
On completion of this session, you will...
- Know how to access databases provided in the library.
- Be able to identify keywords and synonyms.
- Understand Boolean search techniques and use them.
- Know how to critically evaluate sources.
This session will be recorded and provided to all registrants shortly after the event.
