Makerspace: Ardunio (UNO) for Beginners In-Person
In this workshop, you will get to work on an Arduino UNO board in-person and learn about how the board performs. Additionally, we will explain what Arduino is and the fundamentals of electronics to people who are unfamiliar with circuits and electronics.
In this workshop you will learn:
- What Arduino is and what it’s used for.
- Basics of electronics, such as voltage, current, resistance and ohms law.
- Electronic components like LEDS, breadboards, potentiometers and more.
- Building a simple hands on Arduino circuit using inputs and outputs.
- Getting started with the Arduino IDE to start writing your first program.
- Powering and connecting the Arduino board to your computer.
- Uploading programs to the Arduino board.
You will be able to work on the Arduino UNO boards in person. Please bring your own laptop to install the Arduino IDE (this is to connect the Arduino board to your laptop).
