Browsing academic journals, introduction to Browzine In-Person / Online
BrowZine creates the online equivalent experience of browsing a newsstand and reading a print journal. BrowZine consolidates thousands of peer-reviewed journals that the University of Limerick subscribes to and delivers them to your phone, tablet or computer. The BrowZine service is available for all UL students, faculty, researchers and staff to use, and the app is free to install, through UL’s subscription. Instructions about getting started using Browzine are detailed here libguides.ul.ie/Browzine
Teaching staff are welcome to refer students to the library’s video Searching for a Journal Article and join us for this introduction to the platform which allows serendipitous discovery of information as well as targeted selection of scholarly material for academic work.
Browzine trainer, Bridgette Comanda, will demonstrate Browzine in a 1-hour session. Bridget is a librarian with several years experience using this product and is happy to answer questions that arise about integrating Browzine and other features of the LibKey platform in to your teaching.
